Andy's presentations have been used in many situations.  He has spoken at church retreats, community club meetings, conferences, breakfast gatherings, volunteer appreciation receptions, and at many dinner banquets.

“Andy connects with an audience as soon as he opens his mouth. He does research on the audience before hand and it is reflected in the content and style of your presentation.  Andy's message is about caring. He is able to bring home the fact that caring makes the world go round, and caring starts with YOU!.  He can tailor his presentation to any audience and listening to him makes you want to be a better person and makes you wonder how this world could be a better place if we all cared a little more.”
Susanne Medeiros, Public Health Nurse, Sexual Health and Needle Exchange Program, Halton Region Health Department , Oakville, Ontario
Andy's presentations for charity groups, community organizations and churches run 30 to 75 minutes in length, based on your needs. His programs will touch your audience through his shared experiences as a professional working to benefit others across the continent. He is also very active in his church and community! For example, in 2003 Andy and his wife visited the child they sponsor in Kenya, Africa. In 2006-2008 he helped coordinate 3 mission trips from his church to help rebuild homes in Hurricane Katrina ravaged Mississippi. His most popular talk has him challenging his listeners to continue to Share your Care.

Many organizations have benefited from Andy's Impact presentations including: Rotary Club, Optimist Club, Middlesex County Volunteer Fire Fighters, Terry Fox Run, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Compassion Canada, Alzheimer's Society, London Down Syndrome Society, London Regional Mental Health Unit, Hamilton (Ontario) Public Health Unit, Presbyterian Church National Youth Conference, Easter Seals, Brain Injury Association, and for any charity group that needs someone to remind them of the great work they are accomplishing!

Keynote Presentations

Keynote presentations offer motivation, thoughtful insight, and humorous reflections through Andy's unique high-energy delivery. Keynotes are not "note-taking" sessions and have a higher "entertainment" element than a workshop.

Share Your Care

Andy uses powerful and hilarious stories to highlight the power of the individual to make a difference. Andy challenges his audience with the statement, "If care is contagious, it has to start with you!" As a leader, we must be a model of caring for others to follow. Andy's message will inspire your audience to continue to care!

NOTE: Andy will adjust this presentation to suit the specific theme/program/goals of your group. Important elements of your organization will be integrated into the context of his presentation.

“Thank you so much for speaking at the Mission Services Volunteer Appreciation Lunch.  I have had many positive comments about your presentation and the lunch, itself.  I hope you enjoyed it, too.

Andy's "Share Your Care" presentation for adults offers fun insight into high school days when young people are learning to think about others, be empathetic and follow through with selfless actions.  The stories of his personal experiences with mission trips to under developed validate Andy's point by illustrating his desire and his calling to share his time and talents to those who have daily struggles beyond our grasp.  Andy presents a light hearted, yet poignant approach to the important, yet seemingly basic concept of caring for each other.  The audience was moved and entertained all at once. “

SUCCESS KEYS  Unlocking Your Dreams in the 21st Century

Andy presenting Success KeysAndy presenting Success Keys
Andy motivates his audience by reminding them that despite this great era of change, the keys to success have not changed! Using his life stories and the experiences of his friends, Andy points out that tomorrow's success starts with commitments made today. His success keys include: working hard, caring about others, not giving up, building friendships and family, and focus on where you're going, without worrying about where you came from!

LEADERSHIP WORKSHOPS

Andy's workshops educate through the use of humour, energy, and personal stories to breathe life into the material. These sessions are more appropriate for formalized settings where participants would be taking notes. Each workshop offers an excellent handout.

"Thanks for presenting at our recent conference of Adult and Vocational Education Administrators. I thought your workshop was excellent, energized and entertaining!!  There was lots of information that I have passed on especially the one in putting stress into the proper perspective.  How true and what a good way to rate how stressful the situation is.

Your closing was just what we needed.  It is so important in our “fast-paced” “ME” society to take time and “Share Your Care ”.  I try to bring caring into my life every day and it makes me feel a whole lot better. Thanks again for your inspiration."

Heather Wynne, Administrative Assistant, Lennoxville Vocational Education Center, Quebec.

"CAN I COUNT ON YOU?" - Building Your Reliability

This session addresses the concepts of "time management" from a unique and very interesting perspective. Trust is the foundation for loving families, fun friendships, spirited students' councils, successful businesses, and effective leaders; yet people earn the trust of another by being reliable. Andy offers useful and immediately applicable advice on improving your reliability. Through his insights, he demonstrates how improved time management will increase one's reliability!

LET'S TALK - Effective Communication Skills

Get "excited" about your next speaking opportunity! This session draws on Andy's massive speaking experience, ranging from high school pep rallies, university orientation weeks to adult program across North America. He offers hands-on insight on: overcoming the fear (and how it is linked to self esteem), putting more "you" into all of your communication, using the "power of the positive", and how to visualize your improved speaking performances. Andy's ideas are applicable whether you're communicating with one person or one thousand.
“Just a quick note to say thanks again for coming to speak to us yesterday.  The women never stopped talking about it all through lunch. Many of them spoke about the possibilities of having you speak at their churches.  An issue came up with my daughter when I had only been home about 10 minutes and I was able to tell her about caring.  It was kind of neat to use your “Share Your Care ’ message so soon! Thanks again for your energy and caring.”
Jan Parkinson,  Ontario Church Secretaries Conference

"I just wanted to share something that happened yesterday in part because of the inspiration of your talk.  I visited with my uncle in a nursing home on Sunday and frankly being there made me more depressed than usual.  Perhaps it was the juxtaposition of the aging folks with the enthusiasm of the teenagers I had been with all week.  Well it struck me when I left that I appreciated even more the daily care that the workers in the nursing home give to the patients.  It cannot be a very easy job.  Well my wife has grown some beautiful daisies in our backyard (there are hundreds, more than we need that is for sure).  In the spirit of care is contagious I decided it would be nice to thank the nursing home workers with some daisies.  And that is exactly what I did yesterday morning.  I made many bunches of 10 daisies each and drop them off in vases to the Nursing director.  I didn't know her or tell her my name but noted that my uncle stays there.  I wanted to be anonymous.  She was so happy.  I told her to pass them out and tell the staff thank you for caring.

Now in the past I have gotten little ideas like this before.  The difference was this time I followed through and I think you deserve some credit for that.  Thanks again for your great work!!!   I hope we can bring you to our school sometime.  If you are coming to Connecticut to another school please let me know so perhaps we might be able to book you too.  Enjoy the summer."

John O'Leary, M.A., Yale University School of Medicine, Volunteer Counselor at the Connecticut MADD Summer Leadership Camp
