  • Combine a curriculum supportive workshop with a student leadership workshop for your councils and clubs, or a school assembly, or all of these!
I really appreciate your level of energy and the content of your presentation. It would be nice to see this generation become more confident in themselves and speak up and engage."

Feb. 2024. Jeff Williton, Secondary Teacher/SHSM Lead Arts & Culture, Owen Sound District SS.   After arranging “Can I Count on You?” as a Leadership and Communication Certification for two periods.
Pandemic-Tested. Real-World Proven.

During the pandemic, when the speaking and entertainment industries came to a halt, I pivoted. I applied the very skills I’ve taught students for decades and successfully transitioned into three different frontline careers:

✅ Costco Wholesale – Full time Front-end employee for 9 months in 2020
✅ London Middlesex Health Unit – Vaccine Clinic Support for 3 months in 2022
✅ Supply Teacher – London District Catholic School Board for 55 days in 2022.

These unique experiences now shape the core of my curriculum workshops and SHSM certifications  — bringing authentic, real-life lessons in resilience, adaptability, reliability, and inclusion into every certification.

Your Students Need This.
Today’s youth are entering a world that demands more than just academic skills. My programs equip them with:
  • Career readiness tools
  • Workplace soft skills
  • Leadership and communication strategies
  • Firsthand resiliency and crisis management insights

Flyer on Program Options
Option A) “Making Care Contagious!” The Habits of Contagious School Spirit and Successful Activities and Events

Drawing from my experiences as a student leader and as a speaker traveling across North America, I share  the habits that form the foundation of every successful leadership activity.
This hilarious, high-energy session delivers practical advice on: Handling negativity and rejection; Having the courage to model good decisions; Showing appreciation that truly connects; Communicating care effectively; Promoting events that people actually attend.

Option B) “Can I Count on You?” Improving your Reliability to Lead Yourself and Others

The number one challenge for young leaders isn’t coming up with ideas—it’s executing them. This session will immediately strengthen participants’ reliability, teamwork, and organizational skills.  Key concepts include: The Little Things Are EVERYTHING. Honesty, then Fix It! Write It Down!
The ultimate question: Can you be counted on to get it done? That’s the challenge I’ll leave with your students.

Option C) “Let’s Talk!” - Effective Communication Skills for Youth

Training on Confidence, Connection, and the Power of the Positive
Public speaking shouldn’t be something you fear — it should be something you look forward to!
Drawing from decades of experience — from high school pep rallies and university orientation weeks to professional programs across North America — I will share real-world strategies to help you shine on any stage. Learn how to: Overcome fear and understand its connection to self-esteem ; Put more you into every message; Harness the power of positive communication; Visualize success to elevate every performance.

Option D) “Get your Hand UP!” - At School, At Work, In Life!

This hilarious and inspiring program encourages students to live with a “Pick Me! Pick Me!” Grade Two attitude. Whether it’s answering a question, volunteering, or trying something new, leaders get their hand up — even when they’re unsure of the result.
I connect school lessons to real-world readiness, showing that life is about balancing learning and fun. Based on my popular “Get Your Hand Up” program, this version also includes new insights from my nine months working at Costco during the challenging year of 2020 — when this 50-year-old “retail rookie” learned powerful lessons about humility, teamwork, and work ethic from colleagues half my age! Themes of work ethic, school spirit, self-confidence, resiliency, and volunteerism run throughout this high-energy presentation

Option E) “Initiate Inclusion by Invitation” – Building Community and Connection.

INCLUSION: “Seeing Differences, Without Seeing the Difference.” For 10 months in 2018–19, my family welcomed three young women from overseas into our home until their housing situation was settled. The ongoing experience of being “Uncle Andrew” to new Canadians continues to be hilarious, powerful, and deeply insightful. This  program explores inclusion through three connected modules:
COURAGE – Action and Energy
COMPASSIONATE CHANGE – Patience and Service
CONNECTION – Creating Community

Option F) “The Four Most Important Subjects”: How Secondary School prepares you daily for the workforce.

Show Up ; Be On Time ; Get Your Work Done ; Have a Good Attitude
This session is a powerful reminder that these habits complement academics as success skills. The training concludes with a challenge to IMPRESS—by practicing these skills today in class, tonight at your part-time job, and in your commitments at home.

OPTION G: “THE LOOK” BOUNCES OFF ME! Dealing Positively with Negativity.

Every leader knows “The Look” — that glance of disapproval that can drain our energy and make us question our enthusiasm. In this hilarious and life-changing session, I share effective strategies for staying positive, inspiring care, and keeping your leadership spirit strong. Through real stories from my school and community experiences, I remind leaders that: “Care is contagious — but as a leader, it has to start with ME!”    This dynamic program blends laughs, cheers, and interactive activities that keep everyone moving and learning. Participants will gain practical skills to boost school spirit, increase participation, and handle negativity with confidence and kindness.
i want to thank you for doing such a fantastic job presenting the Leadership and Customer Service certifications at all 9 of our schools over the last two weeks. I've heard positive feedback once again.

Feb. 2024    Jennifer Ingratta, System SHSM Co-op Support Teacher, London District Catholic Board
