Andy's Presentations for Community Groups

Andy’s presentations for charity groups, community organizations and churches run 30 to 75 minutes in length, based on your needs. His programs will touch your audience through his shared experiences as a professional working to benefit others across the continent. He is also very active in his church and community! For example, in 2003 Andy and his wife visited the child they sponsor in Kenya, Africa. In 2006 he helped coordinate a group of 17 from his church who helped rebuild homes in Hurricane Katrina ravaged Mississippi. His most popular talk has him challenging his listeners to continue to “Dare to Care”.

Who has benefited from Andy's IMPACT Presentations?

Andy’s presentations have been used in many situations. He has spoken at church retreats, community club meetings, conferences, breakfast gatherings, volunteer appreciation receptions, and at many dinner banquets.

Organizations that have benefited from Andy’s Impact presentations include: Rotary Club, Optimist Club, Middlesex County Volunteer Fire Fighters, Terry Fox Run, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Compassion Canada, Alzheimer’s Society, London Regional Mental Health Unit, Hamilton (Ontario) Public Health Unit, Presbyterian Church National Youth Conference, Easter Seals, Brain Injury Association, and for any charity group that needs someone to remind them of the great work they are accomplishing!

Keynote Presentations

Keynote presentations offer motivation, thoughtful insight, and humorous reflections through Andy’s unique high-energy delivery. Keynotes are not "note-taking" sessions and have a higher "entertainment" element than a workshop.

1. Share Your Care

Andy uses powerful and hilarious stories to highlight the power of the individual to make a difference. Andy challenges his audience with the statement, "If care is contagious, it has to start with you!" As a leader, we must be a model of caring for others to follow. Andy’s message will inspire your audience to continue to care!

NOTE: This presentation is adjusted by Andy to suite the specific theme/program/goals of
your group. You will be impressed how he can add important elements of your
organization into the context of his presentation.

 2. SUCCESS KEYS – Unlocking Your Dreams in the 21st Century

Andy motivates his audience by reminding them that despite this great era of change, the keys to success have not changed! Using his life stories and the experiences of his friends, Andy points out that tomorrow's success starts with commitments made today. His success keys include: working hard, caring about others, not giving up, building friendships and family, and focus on where you're going, without worrying about where you came from!

Leadership  Workshops

Andy’s workshops educate through the use of humour, energy, and personal stories to breathe life into the material. These sessions are more appropriate for formalized settings where participants would be taking notes. Each workshop offers an excellent handout.

 1. "CAN I COUNT ON YOU?" - Building Your Reliability
This session addresses the concepts of "time management" from a unique and very interesting perspective. Trust is the foundation for loving families, fun friendships, spirited students' councils, successful businesses, and effective leaders; yet people earn the trust of another by being reliable. Andy offers useful and immediately applicable advice on improving your reliability. Through his insights, he demonstrates how increased reliability improves one's time management!

 2. “LET’S TALK!” - Effective Communication Skills
Get "excited" about your next speaking opportunity! This session draws on Andy's massive speaking experience, ranging from high school pep rallies, university orientation weeks to adult program across North America. He offers hands-on insight on: overcoming the fear (and how it is linked to self esteem), putting more "you" into all of your communication, using the "power of the positive", and how to visualize your improved speaking performances. Andy's ideas are applicable whether you're communicating with one person or one thousand.
